We will assign garage locations starting with returning teams followed by new teams that have paid the reservation fee. The order will be based on the order in which driver of record registered. If you are bringing a vehicle to KOH that has never been through tech and does not have a metal band from our inspectors, you must schedule a tech inspection! Please let her know when you plan to arrive on the lake bed, and she will assign you to the first available appointment.

New Tech appointments will last approx. Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your scheduled time! Scheduled Tech location will be announced soon.

If you have a conflict you can tech early but someone on your team will need to come back for your yellowbrick! Driver packets will have a map showing where to enter for tech and contingency in Hammertown. Advance payment will save time at registration on lake bed. Per the Bureau of Land Management, no drones are allowed to be flown throughout KOH week as we have Helicopters for rescue and filming. Be sure to bring cash! Internet and Cell service are spotty. If you want to breeze through the front gate, the fastest way to do that is with cash. Hammertown, is the central meeting place during King of The Hammers week.

Spectating: Hammertown promises to be bigger and better than ever in All racing action will begin and end in Hammertown. There will be two live jumbotrons. Vendors open during the day and plenty of food vendors. There are port a potties in Hammertown. Johnson Valley OHV area is open to everyone. The race course and within feet of the race course is closed to the public on race days. The spectator areas are set up to give spectators a chance to see the race at a safe distance from the action.

Many of these spectator areas are the same as in prior years where people have enjoyed watching the race. Street legal vehicles need proper plates and registration.
