What does voyage prive mean




















My girlfriend and I just returned from Greece, which meant to be surprise for me. When she told me how much of stress she had with Voyage Prive, I was shocked. She paid 2 months in advance for beautiful hotel with flights included.

How company that class themselves as exclusive travel agency could have such an awful way of dealing with things? I would never recommend this company due to this unbelievable experience and would suggest anyone to look for any other travel agency as this could easily happen to you.

Putting you in a stressful situation only hours before the holiday you were looking forward to for months. Some really great hotels with lots of added extras for the same price as a normal hotel. We found they are easy to deal with and I have always had my requests fulfilled. Overall a great app and great holidays. We highly recommend them. You have a tour operator booking. Therefore, as mentioned you can continue to reply to this email and get the same answer, or you can follow the advice I supplied to help you avoid this pointless situation which I have again included at the bottom of this email.

We are well aware of the difference between travel credit vouchers and refund credit notes. Please review the ABTA site with particular attention to the type of bookings for which the advice about a refund credit note applies. That applied to "Package Holidays" as defined by having two elements - accommodation and flights booked through us. This does not include a "tour operator" booking where these elements are combined into a single item. I would like to offer more precise information about the travel vouchers you are holding and how they can be used.

After this 1 year expires you can exchange the note for a cash refund, or alternatively at any point you can ask for an extension to the travel credit for up to 2 years. These conditions mean you can either exchange for cash after 12 months, or you can book a holiday potentially up to April , for travel at a date even beyond this. So whilst we appreciate the issue with your partners holiday from work conditions, this option does not restrict that terminally whatsoever.

Also as previously informed, it is not in the remit of this booking type tour operator contract to issue a cash refund directly. The customer service teams cannot make a different decision. This means they have to be booked within a certain time frame - which is normally five days. The website is refreshingly uncluttered. When I looked, there were only 28 deals on offer - a mix of Mediterranean packages, an Aegean cruise, Majorca villas, city hotels and long-haul holidays.

Everything is four- or five-star - the kind of stuff that, if money were no object, you'd like to book. For each deal, you can see how many days or hours are left until it expires. The detail on each of the offers is very extensive, and shown in a slick and glossy magazine-style presentation, as well as more conventionally.
